dc.descriptionObjective: To identify the degree of knowledge of women who are at risk of acquiring or suffer cervical cancer in the population from Lamedo, Nayarit. Material and Methods: Information was obtained through the interview technique as a survey instrument “Risk of Cervical Cancer” validated and applied to women at risk between 25 and 65 years old in the community of Lo de Lamedo, Nayarit. Results: Of a total of 65 women interviewed 92.31% said have received some type of information about cervical cancer. The 67.69% was found with an overall average level of knowledge according to the scale of the instrument taken on the cervical cancer, 20% upper and 12.31% with an overall low level of knowledge. Conclusions: A higher percentage of 90% of women between 35 and 54 years in Lo de Lamedo, Nayarit receive information verbally and not given a meaningful learning. They have an average overall level of knowledge. The lack of information by any means or competent jurisdiction, that prevents women aware of the disease and gynecological outpatient visits regularly to management preventive and do not develop cervical cancer.es_ES
dc.description.abstractObjetivo: Identificar el grado de conocimiento de las mujeres que están en riesgo de adquirir o padecer cáncer cervicouterino en la población de lo de Lamedo, Nayarit. Material y Métodos: La información se obtuvo mediante la técnica de entrevista y como instrumento una encuesta de “Riesgo de Cáncer Cervicouterino” validada y aplicada a las mujeres en riesgo entre 25 y 65 años de edad en la comunidad de Lo de Lamedo, Nayarit. Resultados: De un total de 65 mujeres encuestadas el 92.31% refirió si haber obtenido algún tipo de información acerca del CaCu. El 67.69 % se encontró con un grado de conocimiento global medio según la escala tomada del instrumento acerca del CaCu, el 20% alto y el 12.31% con un grado de conocimiento global bajo. Conclusiones: un porcentaje mayor al 90% de las mujeres entre 35 y 54 años en Lo de Lamedo Nayarit reciben información de manera verbal y no se da un aprendizaje significativo. Cuentan con un grado de conocimientos global medio. La falta de información por cualquier medio o instancia competente, impide que las mujeres tomen conciencia de la enfermedad y acudan a consulta ginecológica de manera regular para un manejo preventivo y no desarrollen CaCu.es_ES
