Resumen : Aunque los orígenes del corrido mexicano son inciertos, se reconoce que es un elemento de identidad y un producto cultural relevante en la sociedad mexicana. Desde sus inicios, el corrido se ha caracterizado por ser un medio de transmisión de información y portavoz de los problemas, movimientos y luchas sociales que se han vivido en las distintas regiones del país, por lo que ha contado con reconocimiento y aceptación social. Las condiciones sociales imperantes durante la Revolución Mexicana y la posrevolución contribuyeron al florecimiento, proliferación y afianzamiento de este género musical. Sin embargo, con el devenir del tiempo, las canciones inspiradas en caudillos y sus peripecias perdieron intensidad y fueron ganando espacio las coplas que retomaban los nuevos problemas y realidades sociales, entre ellas los dedicados a la migración y al contrabando, situaciones que se presentaban sobre todo en la frontera norte del país.
Descripción : Although the origins of the Mexican corrido are uncertain, it is recognized that it is a element of identity and a relevant cultural product in Mexican society. Since its inception, the corrido has been characterized as a means of transmission information and spokesperson for the problems, movements and social struggles that have been lived in different regions of the country, so it has had recognition and social acceptance. The social conditions prevailing during the Mexican Revolution and the post-revolution contributed to the flourishing, proliferation and consolidation of this musical genre. However, as time went by, the songs inspired by leaders and their adventures lost intensity and were gaining space the couplets that took up the new problems and social realities, among them those dedicated to migration and smuggling, situations that are They occurred especially on the northern border of the country.
