dc.descriptionThe Universidad AutónomaAgraria Antonio Narro (UAAAN), formalized in 1997 a proyect study the state of Coahuila Thysanoptera and contribute to the knowledge of the entomofauna this group in the state, places where individuals are located, naming possible new species and determine crop pest species. From 1977 to 2010 collected thrips in five stages: 1)1997-1998; 2) 2003; 3) 204; 4) 2007-2008 y 5) 2009 2010 visiting 26 of the 38 municipalities of the state, seeking wild vegetation, crops, weeds, sand dunes, around bodies or water and in urban areas, using entomological net, plastic bags, strike, dip and manual harvesting. Properly seated adults were identified by specialist from the Universidad NacionalAutónoma de México and Costa Rica respectively. Identified 4 families, 29 genera and 59 species of thrips on 77 plant species.F. occidentalis, F. gossypiana, F. aurea, F. cephalica, Bregmatothrips sp., Thrips tabaci y Caliothripsphaseoliare pest of crops. There is potential to identify new species of the specimens obtained.es_ES
dc.description.abstractLa Universidad Autónoma Agraria Antonio Narro (UAAAN), a través de su Departamento de Parasitología Agrícola-Saltillo (DPA-S), formalizó en 1997 un proyecto para estudiar a los Thysanoptera del Estado de Coahuila y aportar al conocimiento de la entomofauna de este grupo en el estado, sitios donde se localizan los individuos, nombrar posibles nuevas especies y determinar especies plaga de cultivos. De 1997 a 2010 se recolectaron thrips en cinco etapas: 1) 1997-1998; 2) 2003; 3) 2004; 4) 2007-2008; 5) 2009-2010, recorriendo 26 de los 38 municipios del estado, hurgando en vegetación silvestre, cultivos, maleza, dunas, alrededor de cuerpos de agua y en áreas urbanas, utilizando red entomológica, bolsas de plástico, golpeo, manteo y recolecta manual. Los adultos, debidamente montados, fueron identificados por especialistas de las Universidades Nacional Autónoma de México y de Costa Rica, respectivamente. Se determinaron 4 familias, 22 géneros y 59 especies de thrips, recolectados en 77 especies vegetales. F. occidentalis, F. gossypiana, F. aurea, F. cephalica, Bregmatothrips sp., Thrips tabaco y Caliothrips phaseoli, son plagas de cultivos que se siembran en Coahuila. Existen posibilidades de determinar nuevas especies de los especímenes obtenidos.es_ES
