dc.descriptionThe present master's thesis that takes as title Displacement of the Tepehuana language in the community of La Campana (El Mimbre) Municipality of Huajicori Nayarit, is the result of the research work that arose from the interest to know the causes that little by little causes the elimination of the Tepehuan language (o'dam). This interest arose due to my daily work with indigenous children descendants of speakers of the language. The research is of a qualitative and quantitative nature; It is intended to explain the situation that the use of the Tepehuana language in the community mentioned, for this purpose two instruments were applied: the first, a questionnaire of quantitative character that served to know the number of speakers who use Spanish and the o'dam in different social contexts. The second instrument was a semi-structured interview that had the purpose of determining the use of the language in a daily context. Finally, it is possible to conclude, through the results obtained, that o'dam is effectively being replaced by Spanish in this community and that the school as an institution has greatly contributed to this happening.es_ES
dc.description.abstractLa presente tesis de maestría que lleva como titulo Desplazamiento de la lengua tepehuana en la comunidad de La Campana (El Mimbre) Municipio de Huajicori Nayarit, es el resultado del trabajo de investigación que surgió a raíz del interés por conocer las causas que poco a poco origina la eliminación de la lengua tepehuana (o'dam). Este interés surgió debido a mí trabajo diario con niños indígenas descendientes de hablantes de la lengua La investigación es de carácter cualitativa y cuantitativa; tiene la intención explicar la situación que guarda el uso de la lengua tepehuana en la comunidad mencionada, para tal fin se aplicaron dos instrumentos:el primero, un cuestionario de carácter cuantitativo que sirvió para conocer el numero de hablantes que hace uso del español y del o'dam en diferentes contextos sociales. El segundo instrumento fue una entrevista semiestructurada que tuvo la finalidad de determinar el uso de la lengua en un contexto cotidiano. Finalmente se logra concluir, a través de los resultados obtenidos, que efectivamente él o'dam está siendo sustituido por el español en esta comunidad y que la escuela como institución ha contribuido en gran medida aque ésto suceda.es_ES
