dc.descriptionHuman rights synthesize the essence of human beings. In the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen of 1789, the paradigm was man, so no reference to women was included. However, the feminist approach showed the insufficiency of this paradigm by not including the specificity of women. Even today, it could be affirmed that the paradigm is still an adult male, belonging to the white race, coming from the western hemisphere. In 1948, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights made the distinction by sex, which marked a milestone in the recognition of women's rights as a specific and distinct field of men's rights.es_ES
dc.description.abstractLos derechos humanos sintetizan la esencia de los seres humanos. En la Declaración de los Derechos del Hombre y del Ciudadano de 1789, el paradigma era el hombre, por lo que no se incluyó ninguna referencia a las mujeres. Sin embargo, el enfoque feminista mostró la insuficiencia de ese paradigma al no incluir la especificidad de las mujeres. Aún hoy, pudiera afirmarse que el paradigma sigue siendo un hombre adulto, perteneciente a la raza blanca, proveniente del hemisferio occidental. En 1948, la Declaración Universal de los Derechos Humanos realizó la distinción por sexo, lo cual marcó un hito en el reconocimiento de los derechos de las mujeres como un campo específico y diferente de los derechos del hombre.es_ES
