dc.descriptionThe objective of this article is to review the bibliography of return migration in Mexico, the purpose of generating interest and suggesting new lines of research for this subspecialty of migration in Mexico. Authors such as Corona, Escobar and Canales describe the phenomenon as such and highlight the importance of gender differences and the fundamental role they play in relation to the seasonality, duration and return of migrants. A Binary Logistic Regression Model is prepared with information available at the National Institute of Statistics and Geography to estimate the propensity of individuals to be return migrants according to their characteristics and distribution in the state of Nayarit.es_ES
dc.description.abstractEste artículo tiene como objetivo revisar la bibliografía de la migración de retorno en México, el propósito de generar interés y sugerir nuevas líneas de investigación para esta subespecialidad de la migración que en México. Autores como Corona, Escobar y Canales, describen el fenómeno como tal y ponen en relieve la importancia de las diferencias de género y el papel fundamental que juegan en lo referente a la estacionalidad, la duración y el retorno de los migrantes. Se elabora un Modelo de Regresión Logística Binaria con información disponible en el Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía para estimar la propensión de que los individuos sean o no migrantes de retorno según sus características y distribución en el estado de Nayarit.es_ES
