Resumen : En el diagnóstico general se pretende tener una visión realista de la institución para realizar a partir de esta una propuesta de mejora. A favor de la mejora funcional de una institución es de vital importancia el reconocimiento de la realidad del entorno, recayendo así en la imperante necesidad de realizar un diagnostico el cual establezca el punto de partida sobre el cual se elaborarán los objetivos y estrategias de mejora de la institución. Para realizar un diagnóstico correcto se debe de partir de la delimitación de factores que intervienen en el medio externo e interno.
Descripción : The general diagnosis is intended to have a realistic vision of the institution to make a proposal for improvement from this. In favor of the functional improvement of an institution, it is of vital importance the recognition of the reality of the environment, thus falling into the imperative need to make a diagnosis which establishes the starting point on which the objectives and strategies for improving the institution. In order to make a correct diagnosis, it must start from the delimitation of factors that intervene in the external and internal environment.
