dc.descriptionCurrently, one of the most prevalent problems among children in Mexico and the world is Early Childhood Caries (ECC); defined by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) around the problem that occurs in individuals whose lifespan ranges from 10 to 71 months of extrauterine life. In the family environment the responsible for oral health education, undoubtedly should be the parents, however, not all are prepared to do it properly. It should be noted that the period of gestation is considered the best time to raise awareness to sow the sense of responsibility for oral care around your future child.es_ES
dc.description.abstractEn la actualidad, uno de los problemas de mayor prevalencia en la población infantil de México y del mundo es la Caries Temprana de la Infancia (CTI); definida por la Academia Americana de Odontología Pediátrica (AAPD) en torno al problema que se presenta en individuos cuyo rango de vida oscila entre los 10 a los 71 meses de vida extrauterina. En el entorno familiar los responsables de la educación para la salud bucal, indiscutiblemente deben ser los padres, sin embargo, no todos están preparados para poder realizarla de forma correcta. Cabe señalar que el periodo de gestación es considerado el mejor momento de concienciación para sembrar el sentido de responsabilidad de los cuidados bucales entorno a su futuro hijo.es_ES
